Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why Should I Order From You?

I’m glad you asked! I’ve been a digital artist for the past decade and a photographer for over 30 years. I’ve operated a successful Etsy store with 1,000 sales and over 250 five star reviews. I offer Free Shipping on all orders (to Austalia, Canada and the USA) plus a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. My goal is to make ordering custom artwork easy and fun.

  • How do I order my pet portrait?

If you would like to purchase a standard single pet portrait, you can order directly from my website SHOP. If you have a more complex portrait in mind, or have any questions, you can reach me via the CONTACT tab above and send me a message. I'll get back to you within 24 hours to chat about your portrait.

  • How long will my custom portrait take to create?

Approximate turnaround time from the time you order to when you receive your canvas is about one month. This is for a basic portrait of one pet. More complex pieces and multiple pet paintings may take a bit longer. Once you've contacted me for a portrait and we've discussed your needs, you'll receive a more accurate turnaround time.

  • What should I expect to invest?

Basic portraits of one pet, based upon a clear photograph, start at A$389. This includes artwork and an 8 x 10 inch stretched canvas wrap (unframed). For multi-pet paintings or more complex paintings with scenery or additional elements there are additional charges based on the estimated time it will take to complete the artwork.

  • How does the process work?

After you submit the contact form, I'll be in touch to discuss your portrait. Once you decide to go ahead, I'll send you a commission contract (don't worry - its a simple document!) and then you can email your photo to me. You'll have a chance to review your artwork before its printed. Once you've approved the artwork, it will be professionally printed and shipped directly to you by my printing partner.

  • Can my painting include a person?

Absolutely! Portraits of pets and their owners are a wonderful way to celebrate their special connection.

  • Which photo should I choose?

IChoose a photo that you love! The main thing should be that you pet's expression is one that you like since that is what will be in the final painting. Please be sure that your photo is high resolution, clear and in focus.

  • How do I take a good photo of my pet?
